I am a third-year Computer Science Ph.D. student at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, specializing in computer vision and deep learning for agricultural applications. Working under Dr. Khaled Ahmed at the BASE Lab, I develop AI systems for precision agriculture and environmental monitoring through USDA-funded research projects conducted in collaboration with SIU's School of Agricultural Sciences. Previously, I was a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia State University, working closely with Dr. Juan Banda at the Panacea Lab, where I conducted research on solar event tracking. I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from BRAC University in Bangladesh.
Open to Summer 2026 internships in AI/ML, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Data Science, and Software Engineering. I am focused on translating research into reliable, real-world products and tools.
My research focuses on advancing computer vision through efficient deep learning architectures, specializing in multi-task learning frameworks for segmentation, detection, and tracking, with expertise in semi-supervised data labeling using traditional computer vision methods.
